Howden occurs as settlement in the East Riding of Yorkshire, lying next to the M62 approximately five miles northward of Goole. A parliamentary seat of Howden and Haltemprice is held by David Davis, a member of the Shadow Cabinet.
A wapentake of Howdenshire was named for the town.
Howden occurs as historic town, using gothic architecture. It has a big minster, & the bells ring each Quarter-hour. It as well has the park, 2 banks, & the Co-Cooperative. A Co-Cooperative is the independent shop in the town, & is in which virtually all humans obtain groceries.
